28/01/20: Brexit. Sheep rustling, Lambing

Farming Today

There are three days to go until the UK officially leaves the EU. What are farmers expecting to happen next? All this week Farming Today is focusing on Brexit. New figures show a large increase in sheep rustling, with the value of stolen sheep up nearly 20 percent in the last two years. We talk to a farm insurer to ask what's changed, and what farmers can do to keep their livestock safe. Meanwhile sheep farmers are gearing up for the start of the lambing season. One farmer in Cumbria shows us his ante-natal sheep scanning operation. Presented by Anna Hill and produced by Emma Campbell.
