Sean and Sam start off by talking about meeting scheduling. Sam works at Google and shares how he struggled to do a transfer the other day from one office to another. When you have back-to-back work meetings, but no time to make it 13 floors and one city block away, what do you do? Sean recommended using Google’s rumored employee perks: teleporters and clones. Sam can’t confirm because of his NDA, but did discuss the rebranding of the Google AdWords API to Google Ads API. Last year, Sean stopped working at Shopify and contributing to Rails to focus full time on Crates.io. However, they has decided to devote 100% of his time to Rust, but is available for part time contract work and sponsors to survive financially
