Badger culls in England will be phased out, but may be allowed in certain situations. We hear from the Chief Vet on the Government's bovine TB strategy. MPs are now demanding details on the proposed deal with Australia. It's reported to offer a reductions in tariffs on agricultural goods phased in over 15 years, ending up with tariff and quota free access to the UK market. The Chair of the Environment Committee in the House of Commons, conservative MP Neil Parrish has written to ministers asking for the details to be published as soon as possible. Throughout the pandemic many people turned to local food producers for their weekly shop, but how can these small businesses compete as things return to normal? That’s what we’ve been looking at this week and at Cowbridge Farm Shop in the Vale of Glamorgan they believe they have the answer: expansion.
