Woodland closure, Edible flowers, Gloucestershire old spots pig, Field nurse scheme

Farming Today

For the first time the Woodland Trust is to close access to one of its woodlands following ongoing issues with drug dealing, illicit sexual activity, violent dogs and dog fouling. The Rare Breeds Survival Trust is warning that the Gloucestershire Old Spots pig will face extinction, if a recent dramatic decline in numbers continues. As part of our week looking at the British flower industry, Clare Worden has been to visit edible flower growers Nurtured in Norfolk. Presented by Anna Hill and produced by Beatrice Fenton.
