The Non-Linear Process of Creativity with Tammy Strobel

The Unmistakable Creative Podcast

We previously had Tammy as a guest on BlogcastFM nearly two years ago (Tammy Strobel On Growing a Blog from 500 to 6500 Subscribers in 6 Months). A New York Times article that went viral resulted in a media circus around her work, which eventually resulted in a book deal. When I saw on Chris Guillebeau's wall that her book had been published, I emailed her right away and asked if she'd be willing to bring us up to date on her story. Here are some of the highlights from our most recent chat:
  • The Importance of Deliberate Practice
  • The Key to Writing from Your own Experience
  • Identifying the Intersections of All Your Skills to Make Money
  • 3 Key Questions That Will Help You Determine the Value You Can Provide
  • Identifying the Seeds for Products and Services in Your Existing Content
  • How to Collaborate with Other People on Product Offerings
  • Tammy's Brainstorming Process for Book Content
  • Why Writing a Book is Not a Linear Process
  • The Essential Elements of a Killer Book Proposal
  • Why the Marketing of Your Book Must Be Planned in Advance
