Farming Today This Week: Wine

Farming Today

Over the last two decades, wine production in the UK has changed from being something of a national joke, to being an award-winning business. In this programme, Charlotte Smith visits a vineyard in Kent, to find out how and why this has happened. We also hear from an organic vineyard in Wales, and a new viticulture research centre at the National Institute of Agricultural Botany, which aims to help scientists learn more about the best way to grow grapes in our climate. Presented by Charlotte Smith and produced by Emma Campbell.
