The Campaign to Protect Rural England publishes a report today, which identifies an 82% rise in the number of housing developments being built in Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty - despite their protected designation. Anna Hill asks why it's happening, and what the protected status actually means. Recent reports show a massive decline in pollinating insects, including bees. But what if they could be replaced by insects which also help pollination, but aren't under such threat? Anna Hill finds out more about an initiative which aims to do just that. The Scottish Government has established a Tenant Farming Commissioner, in an attempt to resolve disputes between tenant farmers and landlords. In the latest of a week of reports on tenant farming, Nancy Nicolson finds out what this may mean for the tenanted sector.
