Providing 'public goods' on farm, out-wintering cattle, red kites, Martin Clunes

Farming Today

Providing 'public goods' on farm: we hear how it could work and what farmers might have to do to get the funding. All this week we're looking at overwintering livestock. Today we hear from a farmer who keeps his native breed cattle outside all year round. Our reporter Howard Shannon visits actor Martin Clunes' 120 acre farm near Beaminster in Dorset. We ask the RSPB whether it is unusual for red kite birds of prey to take hens in the field. Presented by Anna Hill and produced by Beatrice Fenton.
