Gail Soutar from the National Farmers Union tells Charlotte Smith what she would like the Government to do to offset market volatility which has come into sharp focus this year after a very challenging period of weather, and Mike Butler explains how the dairy industry has been affected. Dalliance the bull regularly has his hair cut and hooves trimmed. Why? Because his semen is highly valuable and is harvested and sold around the world. Mariclare Carey Jones has been to visit this bovine superstar. And talking of bulls the Passmores were one of the first families to use Limousins who went to France decades ago to source their animals.
