Transcript: CORALINE:  Hello and welcome to Episode 102 of Greater Than Code. My name is Coraline Ada Ehmke. I'm joined today with my dear friend, John Sawers. JOHN:  Thanks, Coraline and I am here with Janelle Klein. JANELLE:  Thanks, John and I am here with my fabulous co-host, Sam Livingston-Gray. I do love saying your name. SAM:  Why, thank you. I do love hearing it. Hello, Janelle and hello listeners. I am super thrilled to be able to introduce Katrina Owen. Katrina is an ecosystem engineer at GitHub. She accidentally became a developer while pursuing a degree in molecular biology. When programming, her focus is on automation, workflow optimization and refactoring. She works primarily in Go and Ruby, contributes to several open source projects and is the creator of the amazing Exercism.io, which is a platform for code practice and programming mentorship. Katrina, welcome to the show. KATRINA:  Thank you. I’m so happy to be here. SAM:  Or perhaps, I should say, welcome back to the show because you were with us back on Episode 8. KATRINA:  That's been a while. SAM:  It really has. CORALINE:  That's like over 50 episodes ago, right? My math isn't great. KATRINA:  Your math could use some work. Yeah, that's right. SAM:  Wait, but I thought you had to be good at math to be a programmer. Unnecessary arithmetic. As you probably remember from last time, Katrina, we like to start by asking everybody what is your superpower and how did you acquire it? And I actually don't remember the answer that you gave, so you can just surprise us all with whatever you like. KATRINA:  I also don't remember the answer that I gave, so here we go again. You know, I pack a mean dishwasher.
