Some may remember the 1990's how an Amiga game known as Lemmings took off and created a relatively long living franchise that only petered out in the mid 2000's. The appeal of guiding characters rather than directly controlling them remains, however, and Melbits World goes back to that mechanic but adds the dimension of local multiplayer to the experience that turns it into a very different game. While previously it was just you vs. the puzzle that was the level in Lemmings, with Mebits World it's you and 3 others triggering elements of a 3D world all via their mobile phones and tablets. For yes, Melbits World is part of the Playlink platform on the PS4, which has had a rocky start with some lacklustre titles with Melbits World being exception.
