Farming Today

The cost of ash dieback, British flowers, searching for farm successors

Farming Today

Defra tells us the huge cost of clearing up dead ash trees will have to be met by landowners and councils. And why some people want to ban imports of plants and trees altogether. We're taking a closer look at the UK flower industry. Polly Nicholson specialises in rare flowers, using them in her own floristry business and selling them to other florists. Stephen and Catherine Temple are farming tenants on the Holkham Estate in Norfolk. They've been running their business for decades and now want to take a step back, but can't find anyone to hand over the reins to. Presented by Anna Hill and produced by Beatrice Fenton.
