28/02/20 EU trade deal, Energy audit, Rogue chickens

Farming Today

Almost a month after the UK formally left the European Union, the government has published a document outlining what it would like its future trading relationship with the EU to look like. Negotiations start next week. Caz Graham talks to a spokesman from the International Chamber of Commerce, who explains the detail of the document and gives his view on what it might mean for farming and fishing. Continuing a week-long look at how agriculture can achieve its "net zero" target, we visit a farm in Wiltshire which has carried out an energy audit. In Jersey, the government has been culling feral chickens. It's not been a popular move with some residents, as BBC Radio Jersey's political reporter explains. Presented by Caz Graham and produced by Emma Campbell.
