Farming Today

13/06/20 - BAME representation in farming, cereals, and Peter Crouch (sort of)

Farming Today

Navaratnam Partheeban, Dee Woods and Sinead Fenton talk about their experiences of being people of colour working in agriculture, and what changes are needed for the industry to be more open and inclusive. Coronavirus meant the annual Cereals UK event moved online and Lucy Taylor paid it a virtual visit. Other arable highlights include a trial using clover as a living mulch for organic farmers to enable them to practise 'no till' farming, and David Eudell tells Charlotte Smith whether it's been a boom or bust year for crops. Also 'that' Peter Crouch gives his opinion on Farming Today. Seriously. Well, sort of. And there's some Moorhen chicks. Presented by Charlotte Smith and produced by Toby Field.
