These problems are thrown into relief by contemporary discussions about artificial intelligence and new technologies. Craig Calhoun (@craigjcalhoun) is Professor of Social Sciences at Arizona State University and Centennial Professor at LSE. He is also a previous director of LSE. Monika Krause is an Associate Professor of Sociology in the Department of Sociology and co-Director of LSE Human Rights.
