04/08/21 - Ban on Scottish trawlers, Breeding sheep for wool

Farming Today

A campaign group is calling for a ban on trawlers fishing within three miles of the Scottish coast. Anna Hill speaks to those both for and against the ban. For sheep week today the focus is on wool - Phil Stocker from the National Sheep Association says that often it costs more to shear sheep than is received in return for the fleece, but Beatrice Fenton has been to a farm in Dorset which is finding wool so profitable that they've invested in their own on-site mill. Presenter: Anna Hill Producer in Bristol: Toby Field
