Farming Today

Brexit negotiations' impact on agriculture, sheep worrying, tree planting to prevent flooding in Cumbria

Farming Today

As Downing Street insists the UK will leave the customs union, we ask what might work for the agriculture industry. We hear from farming minister, George Eustice, and economist, Sean Rickard. Tens of thousands of trees have been newly planted on hillsides in Cumbria and the impact they're having on local water courses is being studied by Lancaster University. A farmer in Leicestershire describes how his flock of sheep was attacked by vandals, causing ewes to abort their lambs. Presented by Anna Hill and produced by Beatrice Fenton.
