Charlotte Smith finds out how the snowy conditions are affecting life on the large pig farm near Driffield in East Yorkshire that she's at. The Morgan family muck in together to make sure their 3,200 sows are fed and watered, and gather together around the kitchen table to look at the future. The pig industry is notoriously volatile, but the family are committed to higher welfare standards for their pigs, explaining why that requires consumers to be willing to pay the extra dividend that assures these standards.
