Chlorinated Chicken, Milk Tanker Driver, Late Planting of Potatoes

Farming Today

A trade deal with the US could mean chlorinated chicken will hit the UK's shelves. Caz Graham asks Sue Davies from Which? what UK consumers would make of this, and there's an interview with Roger Johnson, the President of the National Farmers' Union in the US. Moira Hickey's been on the road with a milk tank driver to find out how the milk gets from farmer to dairy. The weather may have improved but the wet Spring has delayed the planting of potatoes and onions. Caz has been to speak to Ed Shaw who grows between 850 and 900 acres of potatoes near Tarporley in Cheshire to find out how he's been affected. Producer: Toby Field.
