The Midlands milk that's going to the Middle East. A Birmingham company is selling fresh UK milk to the hypermarkets of Qatar which are selling two litres of Cheshire, Shropshire or Staffordshire milk for more than five pounds a bottle. Efforts to increase UK Wheat exports have been made with baking workshops in Egypt. Millers in Cairo have been sampling UK flour to bake their staple breads and biscuits in an effort to find new markets. And how one rural scottish foodbank is working to get more fresh dairy products to its clients by working with a local dairy to use surplus milk, yoghurt, cheese and dairy which would otherwise be thrown away.
