Some farmers who supply Tesco are facing price cuts as the UKโ€™s biggest supermarket squares up to take on discount retailers like Aldi and Lidl, as well as absorb costs incurred due to the coronavirus crisis. We hear reaction from farmers. Nearly two million acres of grassland have been lost in Great Britain over the last 25 years, an area bigger than Suffolk and Sussex combined. We ask if, and why, it matters. Weโ€™re looking into the idea of a โ€˜green recoveryโ€™ all this week.
