Defra secretary Michael Gove has hinted that support payments are likely to be reduced for larger-scale farmers, post-Brexit. The RSPB in Northern Ireland say years without an Environmental Farming Scheme has been detrimental for birds. But some farmers are working to save wild birds, even without a scheme. And the humbled cow is being celebrated on Radio 4.
