29/08/19 - Proroguing Parliament, Labour's Animal Welfare Manifesto, Game farming

Farming Today

Parliament will be prorogued - or suspended - from sometime in early-mid September through until October the 14th. We look at what that means for the progress of the Flagship Agriculture and Environment Bills, which are currently midway through clearing the parliamentary process. Meanwhile, the Labour Party launches it's Animal Welfare Manifesto. We look at the details. And as more shooting estates chose to buy in young birds from specialist farms rather than raising their own, we look at the growing game farm industry.
